Follow Friday: Inspiring Photography And Artwork

Follow Friday is a weekly series, inspired by the Twitter trend #Follow Friday. Each Friday, I suggest blogs that I follow to my readers.

For this week’s “Follow Friday”, the theme is inspiring photography and artwork.

I usually share writing-related blogs for Follow Friday but this week I decided to share photography blogs because I believe that art forms influence each other.

I often look at these photography blogs and feel inspired. There’s a story behind those photos, a feeling, a moment, a place. Have you ever used photos as writing prompts or tools to help you imagine your world better?

Here are some great photography blogs:

Cee’s Photography: Cee shares really beautiful and interesting shots. She also shares photography challenges, tips and tricks, and her very inspiring personal story on her blog. Her shots focus on the simple beauty of everyday life: the colours of flowers, black-and-white photos, a new perspective…

But Is It Art? : Declan O’Doherty shares a great mixture of photography, architecture and artwork, showcasing Ireland, Scotland, Canada, England and France. The artwork has this great dream-like quality to it and the photography shots focus on great details.

Urbanite Stories: Andrew shares awesome shots of urban landscapes, often showing city buildings and architecture, city streets and other aspects of daily city life. To me, the shots are cool, edgy and full of colour.

Happy Friday!
